- We believe in the Principles of Human Rights as set out in the Act and will make every effort to meet our responsibilities and provide information and support to our whaiora/clients, their whanau/families and kaiawhina/staff in regards to understanding and utilising the Act, as and when the need is required.
One of the objectives of the Health and Disability Commissioner Act is to "secure the fair, simple, speedy and efficient resolution of complaints." Anyone can make a complaint, orally or in writing to the Manager by referring directly to the contact page of our web page.
